On the occasion of TEFAF Maastricht, the world’s leading fine art fair, we would like to bring together the many alumni and supporters of The Courtauld who will be in town during the opening weekend. At 5.00 pm on Saturday 13 March, you are invited to gather at the stand of Mr. Sam Fogg (#149). There we will speak with members of the Sam Fogg gallery team about the works they are showing. We will then travel as a group to be welcomed by other galleries who support The Courtauld, including Agnew’s, Charles Beddington, Colnaghi/Bernheimer, Johnny Van Haeften, and Daniel Katz. (Please note that guests must arrange their own entrance into the fair to join this event.) This highlights visit should last until the close of the fair at 7.00.
From 7.30 to 9.00, we will gather at the stunning Kruisherenhotel (Kruisherengang 19-23 6211 NW Maastricht) for a private reception with drinks and nibbles. We are incredibly grateful for the generous sponsorship of Sam Fogg and Julian Agnew in enabling this event to take place. Alumni not attending TEFAF are also very welcome at this reception.
We are delighted that The Courtauld’s Director, Professor Deborah Swallow, will be in attendance at these events.
RSVP: Courtauld alumni and supporters are very welcome to attend one or both of these events. RSVP is essential. Please RSVP to Janine.catalano@courtauld.ac.uk by Monday 8 March, stating whether you will attend the TEFAF tour, the Maastricht reception, or both. I will also be coordinating a taxi share from the fair to the Kruisherenhotel; if you would like to be included in this, please let me know in your RSVP. |
