The Courtauld Institute of Art will soon host its second reception at an annual conference of the College Art Association, this year being held in Chicago. We invite you to come and share a glass of wine with current and former students of The Courtauld.
The objectives of this occasion are: to bring together alumni of the Institute who will be in Chicago on this day, whether they live locally or are attending the conference; to raise awareness of the Institute among prospective students attending the CAA conference and also those who reside in the Midwest; and to connect with colleagues attending the conference who may be interested in knowing what the Institute is doing these days.
To that end, individuals not registered for the conference are very welcome to attend this reception as well and meet fellow graduates living in the Midwest. We would also encourage you to bring along colleagues, prospective students, and anyone else with an interest in The Courtauld.
There will be a brief spoken program at the moment when the room is at its busiest. Remarks will be made by Prof. Caroline Arscott (Head of Research, and the faculty member representing the Institute’s director Dr. Deborah Swallow), and Peter Trippi (MA 1993), US Alumni Chairman.
RSVP: Although not strictly necessary, RSVPs would be very much appreciated. Please contact Janine.catalano@courtauld.ac.uk. |
